Villa Giara is an 'Italian Country Inn' in Calosso, Piemonte, the famous wine and truffle region of Italy. Piemonte was recently named by Lonely Planet travel guides as the #1 region in the world you 'must' visit next.
Villa Giara is composed of two country houses, with a total of ten guest rooms, all en suite. Villa Giara sits atop a hill with beautiful, sweeping panoramic views of rolling hills and vineyards; in the distance, you view the village of Calosso, with its castle and cathedral.
We are sorry, but we can't host pets or children at Villa Giara. 13 and older, please.

A delicious breakfast is included for all guests, and served from 8.00 to 10.30 in The Limonaia Room.

Antiques and farmers markets are abundant in the area. We'll provide you with a schedule of those happening during your visit.
Truffle Hunts
As Villa Giara is in Italy's foremost truffle region, you'll be able to join a seasoned truffle hunter and learn how to forage for Italy's "white gold."
Bike Riding
The country roads and scenic hills of Piemonte provide the perfect place for biking. Rentals nearby offer both standard bicycles and e-bikes; tour guides are available if you'd like to explore in a more organized fashion.
Horseback Riding
Multiple equestrian centers in the area offer both lessons and trail rides. It's the most natural way to take in the magnificent surroundings.
